Summary: The cabin we had was relatively clean inside and had all the basics needed for our stay. The check-in communication was somewhat last minute as the notice with the code was made through Hotels.com site and not a direct e-mail or text, so it was a bit of a challenge obtaining the communication, as the cabin was in a very challenging location to get connectivity, as well as it was night time which made it even more challenging. Unfortunately, there was no lighting (there were path lights but they did not work) anywhere near the cabin location with many steps and decking which had a great deal of leaves, pine cones and straw that made walking to the cabin entrance's extremely dangerous. As such, we had to physically make a walking path, without tools, to be able to safely travel between the cabin and the parking. There is no staff to communicate with or assist. On our last day, someone finally cleared the leaves and debris. The additional point is the website pictures are aged and taken when the cabin location was at a way better condition. The inside pictures of our cabin are also one’s that are way different from the furniture to the furnishings that exist today. The property has aged from those pictures and is “worn” relative to their website presentment. Another example was the pet enclosure, wherein that area is overgrown with a great deal of debris and high grass/weeds throughout, making it dangerous for utilization. It nowhere looks like the pristine web pictures.
