Unique Private Forest Retreat ~ 15 minutes from Downtown. | House in Missoula
3 Bedroom House in Missoula
Welcome to the 3rd oldest (fill in the other rental platforms name) in Montana! Come relax and settle into my comfortable, clean, shoe free, private and unique forest home. Jane's Place Montana has been hosting families since 2005. I was on Flathead Lake for 15 years and in Hot Springs Montana for close to 20 years. Jane's Place Montana is a small family run business.
My home in Pattee Canyon is private, newly renovated (except 1980's bathroom) and borders State land. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the forest and beautiful canyon while only 15 minutes from the heart of Downtown Missoula, the University District, The Hip Strip, Southgate Mall or just about any spot you need to get to in historic Missoula.
Our back patio area is a large and private gaveled space for enjoying your morning beverage and the hummingbirds, B-B-Qing, sunbathing, hot tubbing and did I mention relaxing with a good book?
There is plenty of parking, a great stop off if you're headed to the lake with your boat or RV. Up to 28' rigs can be accomodated, please inquire first.
The entire upstairs of my home is open for your use, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The laundry area is downstairs and you are welcome to use it during your stay, but no use of the rest of the basement area, it is a private area, maybe next year :)
Registered guests only, no visitors.
The Vibe: Relaxed, Casual and shoe free.
Other things:
This is NOT a party house. If you are planning a party, this is NOT the house for you, no joke, please look elsewhere. No exceptions . You will be asked to leave, no refund.
My home is not suitable for pets of any type, including service animals. This is my primary residence and I am allergic. It's not suitable for children under the age of 15, infants or folks with mobility issuers. Glass, uneven surfaces, throw rugs, stairs and high ledges. I do not reside on the property while you are there. I am here at check in, an in person check in is required. I give you a run down of the hot tub, it's required by my insurance company and then I am out of your hair.
***We ask that you leave your street shoes at the door because of our graveled areas. We are a 100% shoe free home, particularly hiking boot & tennis/hiker treads pick up and hold gravel, severely damaging the new hardwood floors. Flip flops are ok, check your treads :) Thanks a million!! We provide slippers too!
**HOT TUB: PLEASE shower and rinse well before using the tub, clothes optional, it's very private here, you are safe. Soaps and dyes in your clothing are terrible for our spa. Rinsing well helps maintain a nice clean spa thru-out your stay. Lotions, makeup, hair products and perfumes really pollute the system. NO glass, street clothes, T shirts, cut offs or water shoes allowed. .
**The spa is drained, cleaned and sanitized between every guest stay, please follow the directions we leave for you and CALL, by phone, if you have any questions or there's an issue. thanks! Because of cleanings, the tub may not be quite up to temp upon your arrival, it should be good within a few hours.
I will show the registered guest how to sanitize after each use upon arrival. This property requires an in person check in.
