Enjoy a relaxing stay in our off-the-beaten-path Arcata guest home. Clean and comfortable, this one bedroom home is less than a mile from the Arcata Plaza, Cal Poly Humboldt, shopping, and food. Less than 9 miles from Arcata-Eureka airport and a short drive to Trinidad, Eureka, and the Redwoods. No pets. No smoking.
Enjoy a peaceful stay in our one bedroom, one bath guest house with a full kitchen and living room, and a view overlooking Arcata and the bay from the shared front yard.
The bedroom includes a comfortable queen sized bed, small closet and dresser.
The kitchen has the basics you need to prepare meals while traveling. Includes a refrigerator, gas stove, and microwave. The coffee maker a drip style maker.
The living room has a futon for lounging and a Smart TV. Kick back and log into your own accounts and take off right where you left off at home.
We do offer a narrow side table for dining or for use as a workspace.
We have a full bathroom with standing shower, small vanity, and apartment sized washer & dryer.
No outside visitors. No events or gatherings are allowed.
Nightly rate included Transient Occupancy Tax that will be submitted to the City of Arcata.
Guests have full access of the rental unit. There is a shared common area in the front of the primary house that is shared with the tenant. Tenant is very friendly and quiet and tends to keep to herself.
I go with the flow of what guests indicate they would like for interaction. I am happy to meet up with guests or stay back and provide guests with space. I live one mile from the home and can quickly arrive if needed. I accept phone calls, emails or direct messaging through the listing platform.
There is a long term tenant that lives on-site. Please be respectful.

-Please treat the home, furnishings, and grounds with care and respect.
-This is a peaceful residential neighborhood — we ask that you be mindful of neighbors at all times.
4. No Smoking
-Smoking of any kind (including vaping and cannabis) is not permitted inside the home or within 30 feet of doors and windows.
-Evidence of smoking will result in additional cleaning fees.
5. Pets
-No Pets are allowed on the property.
-Unauthorized pets will result in immediate eviction without refund.
6. Cleanliness & Care
-Please remove shoes indoors if possible to help protect floors.
-Do not rearrange furniture.
-Report any damage or maintenance concerns promptly so we can address them.
-Home should be free of odor which may impact the following guest stay (this may include but is not limited to seafood, perfume, smoking, etc.)
